Bromeliad -- The Torch Plant

Billbergia pyramidalis(bill-BERJ-ee-ah pi-ram-DAY-lis)

Ease of Growing: Very easy

Light: Bright, though they can survive for many weeks in a lowlight setting.

Water: Drench soil thoroughly, and then allow it to become quite dry before watering again.

Temperature: Moderate to warm. 65-75°F during the day, and 60-70°F at night.

Tips: The flowers themselves are short-lived but beautiful on these easy-to-grow Bromeliads. They produce offshoots readily, and should be kept on the main plant as long as possible before repotting them to start a new plant.

My torch plant was in bloom when i got it about 3 years ago but has not flowered since. Any ideas on what i can do to encourage it to bloom again?

Thank you
